how can I learn chinese language on the iternet?
Try to find a friend online (yahoo answers) who is patient and willing to teach you. For you most likely won’t be able to learn enough on your own with the internet manuals. It can be pretty frustrating trying to learn a new language all by yourself through a book, and I’d imagine even more so online.

You need to first ask whether you are only interested in spoken or written Chinese and if spoken, which type. Most of us have learned Mandarin. I studied for four years (two in China), and it’s hard to imagine learning Chinese online, but then again, I started learning in the pre-Internet era.
If just spoken, you should make sure it has the sounds of the words spoken– similar to the audiotape method I used as part of my study. You must get the tones down and he subtle differences in ending constanents. For example, I said to a Chinese friend that I have many qingren (lovers) throughout the US, when I meant qinren (relatives)— actually qinqi is more appropriate.
